We Can’t Wait to Meet You!
Welcome to Dental Dontics!!
Whether this is your child’s first visit, a special dental need, or you’ve had an unpleasant experience elsewhere, we’ve got this. We’re here to make going to the dentist like a day at the park. Think good times, new friends, and a whole lotta laughs. And parents, you’re welcome to stay with your child during the entire visit.
Tips to Prepare for the 1st Visit:
Going to the dentist can be scary for a child. It doesn’t have to be. The earlier you introduce your child to the dentist, the more comfortable they’ll be. Often, an infant or toddler’s first visit is simply a short icebreaker to establish the dentist’s office as a safe, friendly place. Taking the time to do this will make subsequent visits stress-free.
- Treat it as a casual sneak preview, not a serious event. Simply make sure your child is comfortable and understands everything that’s happening.
- Ask our staff if your child can walk back and quickly take a look around the office. Let them feel involved in the tour and explain what they’re seeing to reassure them that this new environment isn’t scary at all.
- Plan your initial “preview visit” during a quiet time of day—that way, your child won’t feel rushed or overwhelmed.
While you’re here, we’ll share some tips on brushing, flossing, and other cavity-preventing habits.
What to Expect During Your Visit:
Here at Dental Dontics we’ve set up our offices to make nervous kids comfortable during every visit—especially the first one.
Our kid-friendly waiting rooms are filled with activities to help children relax before going inside. Spending a few extra minutes hanging out in a fun waiting room can be a perfect way to ensure a stress-free introduction.
- Your new patient visit will begin with a tour of the office.
- Our welcoming staff will provide home-care instructions, a dental hygiene goody bag, and a new patient T-shirt.
- Dental x-rays will be completed as planned, and our registered dental hygienist will perform a cleaning.
- The dentist will then provide a comprehensive oral exam and discuss findings and recommendations with parents.
- Your child’s visit ends with a trip to the prize wall to choose a surprise.
We want you and your child to leave here looking forward to your next visit at Dental Dontics See you soon!

Our goal in providing pediatric dentistry for your children is to create a warm, comfortable atmosphere in which your children will embrace good dental hygiene habits from the start. In order to achieve this we commit to the following: To eliminate the fear many children associate with dental visits by providing care to your child in a fun, relaxed, and non-intimidating manner. To provide gentle quality dental care to infants, children, adolescents and those with special needs.
Meet Your Pediatric Dentist
Pediatric dentists vs. regular dentists— what’s the difference?
Pediatric dentists complete an extra 3 years of specialty training after finishing dental graduation just to learn about the unique oral health needs of children, including those with special needs. You take your child to a pediatrician, you should take your child to a pediatric dentist.
How are Appointments Scheduled ?
The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children are recommended seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with the child for their comfort. All restorative treatments will also be seen in the morning for the same reason. Since appointed times are reserved exclusively for each patient we ask that you please notify our office 48 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time if you are unable to keep your appointment. Another patient who needs our care could be scheduled if we have sufficient time to notify them. We realize that unexpected things can happen, but we ask for your assistance in this regard.
*Please call 8985745263 to reschedule an appointment.
Dental Services
As a parent, we know you would rather prevent a dental problem for your children than treat one. We offer several types of treatment designed to keep your children’s teeth and gums healthy and disease-free.
Oral Hygiene
Ensuring that each child understands proper brushing and flossing technique is critical to our success in preventing dental disease. We will spend time teaching and reinforcing these skills and will also discuss eating habits…the third and very important ingredient to dental disease. Our goal is to ensure you and your children have all of the information and the skills necessary for excellent oral health.
Dental Sealants
A winter coat protects you from cold temperatures; a raincoat from a downpour. Dental sealants are like coats, protecting your child’s teeth from harsh elements and decay. Here’s how.
Sealants protect the grooved and pitted surfaces of the teeth from bacteria and an acidic environment. They are especially effective on the chewing surfaces of the back teeth where most cavities in children are found. Sealants are made of a clear or shaded plastic and are applied to the teeth to help keep them cavity-free. They do not guarantee that your child will not get a cavity.
Your pediatric dentist will check the sealants during routine dental visits and recommend re-application or repair when necessary.
Topical Flouride Application
Flourides form a protective layer when applied on tooth surfaces. It is a best tool to prevent decay in children. Biannual application regularly decreases the cavity forming rate in child’s mouth.
Restorative Dentistry
This is how we “fix teeth.” If your child has restorative treatment that needs to be completed the doctor will customize the restorative plan specifically for them. Although every child’s dental needs will be different, the doctor will develop a plan to best suit the patients age, temperament, medical history and urgency. We are committed to discussing your options and answering your questions before treatment begins. Our doctor welcomes and encourage questions and want you to be a part of our team as we create a healthy smile for your child.
Pulpectomy
(ROOT CANAL TREATMENT OF MILK TOOTH)
This is the choice of treatment when child’s milk teeth have deep cavities, leading to pain discomfort and often associated with swelling. We understand handling a child with pain is of utmost importance to both the parents and us. We customize the visits to suite every child’s behavior as the main concern is only to make the child comfortable during and after the treatment.
Extraction
This mode of treatment is the last choice of treating a milk teeth with severe infection, which may pass to the underlying permanent teeth.
The only major concern which follows the premature removal of milk teeth is the malalignment which would follow as the permanent teeth which replace the milk teeth erupt only at a predetermined age unless otherwise.
In those cases extraction of milk teeth is usually followed by an appliance called as space maintainers
Space Maintainers
As the name suggest, maintains the space of the permanent teeth after premature removal of the milk teeth. There are varied appliances which can be customized according to childs needs.
Emergency Treatment
While our goal is to prevent dental emergencies, we understand that the need for urgent dental care is sometimes necessary and can be a stressful experience for both parents and children. We strive to handle dental emergencies promptly and with compassion.
